Architectural Design Staff

We’re looking for a disciplined and creative individual to join our design team in Fall City, Washington. You’ll be responsible for creating sets of construction documents by hand, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, as well as some detail coordination, project management, and rendering. This is a full-time, entry-level position with room for growth and lifestyle flexibility. We’re also willing to consider short-term (over six-month) contract options. Design Staff will report directly to Daniel Ash, Architect.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

  • Proficiency in SketchUp

  • Proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

  • A good hand for drawing / rendering

Other qualities that we’re looking for:

  • Experience in wood-framed construction

  • 1-2 years of architectural experience

  • Revit ability

  • Physical model-making skill

  • A passion for vernacular design

Breakfast Chef

Do you have a passion for cooking and hosting? Do you have culinary skills with a creative personality? If so, then we would love to meet you!

TreeHouse Point is a rustic-yet-world-class bed and breakfast that is looking to hire a talented breakfast chef to serve our treehouse bed and breakfast guests an incredible breakfast! The shift will start at 7:30 am and conclude around 1-2 pm. Breakfast service is from 8:30-10:00 am. The right person will have flexibility within their schedule to be available to work about 3 shifts per week.

Prerequisites:

  • Passion for cooking and producing high-quality food.

  • Friendly outgoing personality and ability to engage with breakfast guests.

  • Positive attitude and an excellent team player.

  • Reliable transportation.

  • Local applicants with at least 1-year background in a professional kitchen are strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities: 

  • The Breakfast Chef will prepare breakfast for up to 22 guests; however, our average guest count will be closer to 16.

  • Prepare dishes for guests with dietary restrictions and allergies.

  • Prep for the next day using fresh ingredients. We prefer to make items from scratch and use natural, local ingredients without unnecessary additives.

  • The Chef will work with the General Manager to ensure that WA State Health Standards are upheld and that our inspections are being passed without violation.

  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and buffet area. 

  • Assist the other Chefs and General Manager with managing inventory. 

  • Possibly picking a couple of items up at a local grocery store in between orders. 

  • Lightly engage with the guests while replenishing items mid-service.

Guest Relations

TreeHouse Point is in search of the perfect person to fulfill our Guest Relations position. At this time, we are looking for someone who has availability to work 2-3 shifts per week, with the possibility of up to 4 shifts per week by mid-June. The primary focus of the Guest Relations position is to be on‐site and available from 5:00 ‐ 9:30 pm to ensure that our guests are well taken care of.  In addition to providing excellent customer service to our guests, the Guest Relations position is also responsible for the below tasks. The perk to this position is that outside the below listed responsibilities, you will get paid to read, do homework, and just relax!

Pre-requisites: 

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to chat comfortably with guests

  • Punctuality

  • Attention to detail

Responsibilities: 

  • Chatting and providing stellar hospitality to our overnight guests. Local knowledge of the Snoqualmie Valley is helpful!

  • The Guest Relations position will man the emergency/after-hours cell phone in the case that guests have any questions or need assistance.

  • Ensuring the gate is opened or closed for events.

  • Turning down the Lodge for the evening (lights dimmed, candles lit, front door locked, music playing).

  • Possibly start a fire in the fireplace or fire pit for overnight guests. 

  • Restocking the hot beverage bar (coffee cups, sugar, hot cocoa, etc).

  • Refill hot water kettle and cold water dispenser as needed.

  • Maintaining cleanliness of the restroom in the Lodge. 

  • Loading any dirty dishes into the dishwasher, which is usually a couple of coffee mugs and silverware from the overnight guests.

  • Start the dishwasher.

  • Wipe down tables, counters, and chairs as needed.

  • Tidy up the Lodge (organize magazines, refolding throw blankets, stock firewood, restock brochures in the entryway.

  • Prior to leaving, fill cloth napkins for the morning and place paper napkins under the buffet.

  • Dump out and rinse coffee thermos, if applicable.

  • Place popcorn under the buffet.

  • Place s'mores basket in the cabinet under the french presses.

  • Place french presses in the cabinet along with the french presses. 

  • "Close" the kitchen by rolling the butcher block cart 

  • Lights off, office door shut, gate shut, front door locked, and side door locked upon leaving for the night.
